First Holy Communion is considered one of the holiest and most important occasions in a Roman Catholic person’s life. It is the first time that a person receives the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, which is the eating of consecrated bread. Most Catholic children receive their First Holy Communion when they are 7 or 8 years old as this is considered the age of reason.
If your child is nearing second grade or is a little older and attends a public, private, or Catholic school, please complete and submit the Online Registration Form. You will receive an acknowledgement email of the completed registration form. Please print it and bring to the meeting along with a copy of your child's baptism certificate and $50 sacramental fee to cover the cost of books and other class materials.
The registration meeting will be announced after every Sunday Mass and published in the bulletin and on the parish website. Please stay tuned!
