2026.06.21 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Parishioners,

We are happy to provide you—inserted in this bulletin—with the Financial Statement of our Parish for 2025. This statement is a way of being accountable to you for your generous financial contributions to the Parish. Ultimately, it is your financial generosity that enables us to be efficient and continue our rich ministry and service.

Since we are talking about money, this is a great opportunity for me to thank all the members of the Parish for your continued support and financial generosity. In a particular way, I want to thank the members of our Parish Finance Committee: Stephen Fleury, Henry Lapar, Ian Cruickshank, Belinda Lau, Louie Barbon and Fr. Martin, C.S.C. I am grateful to Henry Lapar for his bookkeeping skills.  I also thank Delaila Paes, our Parish secretary, Chona Sto Tomas, our office assistant, and all our part-time staff for their efforts in keeping our Parish office running smoothly. I am very grateful, too, to Rutchie De La Cruz, our custodian, for his hard work in maintaining the Parish infrastructure. I would also like to acknowledge and thank the teams of our money counters, who faithfully record the offerings received at each Sunday Eucharist and our ushers who collect the money. 

We have been exploring the possibility of installing an air conditioning system in the Church, with the help of the Parish finance committee and a special committee established for the project. As some of you may already know, all the power for the Church comes from the building located on the west side of the Church. We have been assessing whether the existing system has sufficient capacity to support the air conditioning system, or whether we need to invest in a new transformer system for the Church, which would cost more than $250,000.00. Unfortunately, this assessment has taken a lot of time. So far, the conclusion is that we have enough power, without a new transformer, to support the air conditioning system. It is our hope that we will be able to move forward with the system in the coming months. Thank you for your patience.
