2026.11.01 Solemnity of All Saints

Posted : Oct-25-2026

Dear Parishioners,

This Sunday, November 01, we celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints, honouring all the saints in heaven, both known and unknown. All Saints’ Day is not simply a celebration of holy people from the past. It celebrates what God can accomplish in the lives of ordinary people who allow God’s grace to work in them.  Their lives remind us that holiness is a calling for everyone, lived through faith, prayer, kindness, forgiveness, and love. Sometimes we imagine saints as people who never made mistakes, never struggled with temptation, or experienced hardship. However, they became saints not because they were perfect from the beginning, but because they allowed God to transform their lives.

As a parish community, we look to our patroness, St. Rose of Lima, whose life of prayer and devotion inspires us to seek God in life's quiet moments. We also draw inspiration from St. Carlo Acutis, the young saint who showed us that holiness has no age limit and that even ordinary daily activities can become opportunities to share God’s love. This All-Saints’ Day, may their examples encourage us to put Christ at the centre of our lives and to remember that sainthood begins with the small acts of love we offer each day. May we continue to grow together in faith and holiness as a parish family.
