Dear Parishioners,
This past Friday, June 12th, we celebrated the feast of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. However, each year, the Holy Mother Church dedicates the month of June to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. During this month, the Church invites us to reflect on the deep love and mercy found in the Sacred Heart of Jesus. His Heart is a symbol of compassion, sacrifice, forgiveness, and endless love for all people. When we look at the Sacred Heart, we see a heart that was moved by the sufferings of others, a heart that forgave sinners, welcomed the outcast, and remained faithful even unto the cross. The Church also invites us to reflect on the kind of hearts we are called to develop in the world. In a world often marked by indifference, division, and loneliness, the Sacred Heart calls us to become people of compassion. As we receive Christ’s love, we are invited to share that love with others. In every joy and struggle, the Sacred Heart reminds us that Christ walks with us and calls us to place our trust in Him. During the month of June, may we spend time in prayer before the Lord, entrust our families and intentions to the Sacred Heart, and imitate His kindness and mercy in our daily lives.
