Horizons of Hope: A Toolkit for Catholic Parishes on Palliative Care

Discover how our Catholic faith helps us navigate end-of-life questions, accompaniment, and bereavement with dignity and hope. This four-part parish program explores the human experience of dying, medical expertise, and Catholic moral and pastoral teaching.

This program is designed for

Caregivers and family members supporting a seriously or terminally ill loved one
Anyone seeking to learn more about palliative care and Church teaching on end-of-life
Persons recently diagnosed with a terminal illness

Program Details

Dates: Saturdays — Nov 14, Nov 21, Nov 28, and Dec 5 (Attendance is required for all 4 sessions)
Time: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: St. Rose of Lima Parish Hall, Scarborough
Cost: Free of charge
